Sashcolors
The belt colors in Kungfu To’A consist of white, green, brown and black and are applied on red background.
♦ white ♦ symbolizes the seed, in which all plants are included, but which is at the beginning of the development. The white seed resembles an undescribed white sheet, ready to receive what should be written on it.
♦ green ♦ means growth – as the seedling of a tree that has been growing and thriving, until a tall young tree has grown up with a powerful crown.
♦ brown ♦ represents the full-grown tree, whose root is already strong, but still steadily gaining strength, size, resilience experience and beauty.
♦ black ♦ there comes a point at which no growth occurs. But the tree is there, he knows and he is … until it dries up … and beyond …
♦ rot ♦ ist die Farbe der Großmeisterschaft.
The founder of the Kung Fu To’A “Grand Master Ebrahim Mirzaii” had its time set that you get the green sash, if you have learned the 7 basic hand forms. After that 7 advanced hand forms should follow. However, only one of this advanced forms was realized. Furthermore a say form and a sword form were taught by him. By expulsion from Iran, a gunshot wound and other uncertainties Grandmaster Mirzaii did not develop the style further. Several times he has renamed the style appointed new leaders. Thereupon, the masters have split up and developed their own techniques, branches and styles. It has not been possible to develop common German or European rules. This is the reason why we have decided to introduce our own rules and our own examination regulations. For this purpose, we retain the original sash colors in substantially and the techniques have not changed from the original. Our change, however, is that it will be possible to get a black sash for the learning of all original techniques of the Grand Master Ebrahim Mirzaii in a minimum period of 10 years (instead of getting a green sash, how it was originally). We assume that Mr. Mirzaii will not add any new techniques to the style andthat there is no proven official successor of the Grand Master. We see it as our duty to the style that the style stays original but in the same time it ispossible to study the style with a conclusion. All additional techniques that are taught in our school have the meaning to help the students to expand beyond their knowledge comprehensively and deepen.
